As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, initiating contact, and nurturing leads through the sales process. In particular, you will spend a good portion of your time reaching out to the outsourced CFO, CPA, and bookkeeping community. Your goal will be to turn leads into productive, happy, paying accounts. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work with product and marketing owners to improve lead qualifications and conversion. You will be supported by an experienced team who will also be incentivized to convert leads into paying customers together.
Responsibilities:
- Strong outbound business development into the outsourced CFO, CPA, and bookkeeping community.
- Engage with leads through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to initiate contact and establish rapport.
- Clearly and effectively communicate Telemetry’s value proposition to prospects.
- Qualify leads by conducting in-depth needs analysis and assessing their fit with our product or service.
- Schedule meetings for product demonstrations with qualified leads.
- Experienced qualifying leads with CRMs such as Hubspot and prospecting in B2B databases such as apollo.io
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Continuously improve knowledge of the finance industry, market trends, and competitors to effectively articulate our differentiators.
- Provide feedback to the management team on lead quality and suggest potential areas for improvement.
- Solve client issues in real-time.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and closed business.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an SDR or in a similar sales role is preferred.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive and persistent approach to lead generation.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the entire sales cycle.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in using sales tools and technology.
- Knowledge of the finance industry, particularly in financial planning and analysis tools, is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
